Reconciliation

 FORBIDDEN HEARTS

Just Felt, I am alive....
Just knew, You're my life....
You know, You are my love,
Like clouds, floating above....

Every nook and corner,

Enquired each foreigner...
When you appeared to me,
Whole darkness would flee....

For you decorating the earth,

Probably for the next birth....
Today and my each tomorrow,
In my prayers I ask to borrow....

Without you I'm bird alone,

Carried, where wind blown ....
I do believe that I'll find out,
Till then continue my shout...

Someday my cry if you receive,

Don't ignore when you perceive.....
Gradually, life becomes awesome,
All around us, buds will blossom....

It's so long since we ever met,

Those moments I never forget...
God! I find everything still new,
Wish to see, those days are a few..

PLEASE

I wish, I could compromise,

Lost much, now improvise...

For you, never tried to earn,

Sorry for being so stubborn....

Later on, thought so much,
My shoulder had no touch...
Don't hold me down indeed,
Perhaps, I find you exceed...

Now, life wants me to set free,

If we don't meet once to agree...
How can I tell you those desire,
If you go on higher and higher...

Now day break to my late night,

Missed working and hate fight...
Haven't I requested you to stay,
I surrender and make you right..

I continued to follow you along,

Your tears prove me too wrong...
Having those moments of unease,
Still don't leave me alone,  please...

ЁЯНБ... So what...., If..ЁЯТЦЁЯТФ..

..BROKEN..

So what, if you're betrayed,
Your heart isn't hackneyed...
She always made you bend,
Now the life's about to end...

So what, if you've tears,

Still it's nothing to fear....
It's all dark in your life,
Defeat is sure in strife.....

So what, if she disappeared,

You've always been prepared...
Making all dreams come true,
Whispering ever she shared...

Now the sight is clear,

Your farewell is near.....
Leave everything behind,
But memories are so kind....

GRANDMOTHER...

People having Grandmothers,
Really feel happier than others..
Only lady to look alike forever,
She cares your stuffs used ever..

First perambulator was kept,
Tiny toys for those you wept..
Still all make her very pleased,
Being grown up usually swept..

Face has so many wrinkles,
But her eyes have twinkles..
Holding your hands together,
Her affection seems sprinkles..

From a daughter to grandmother,
It's never easy from one to other..
Ladies have so many roles to play,
Different toys made of same clay..

All of these challenging aspects,
We feel proud of giving respects..
Bringing from darkness to lights,
Fill one's life with many prospects..

Caged Soul.

I want to hear whenever I breath,

This is my heart , I feel it beneath...

Now I easily move all around me,

My cage looks like a statue, I see...

From this statue, I'm going apart,

For being liberated, with this art...

It works as my identity for years,

This body, my playful soul bears...

I am going through a dense forest,

Hearing peaceful and a deep rest..

Of all the playful creatures around,

Freely on the branches and ground..

Sleeping and dreaming for the best,

I'm very happy to see them at rest..

Sparrows are with their young ones,

Peacefully slept in their dried nest..

Our nature has its own way to treat,

Cares to be advanced and to retreat..

Like water in a river, I flow in the air,

Worries are left behind somewhere...

I could live with this beautiful nature,

Like a rabbit or any other creature...

It's time to go back in my golden cage,

I am just waiting to complete my age...

Navratri

Chaitra Navratri

Chaitra Navratri is a significant Hindu festival celebrated over nine days, dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga and her nine divine forms. It falls in the Hindu month of Chaitra (March-April), marking the beginning of the Hindu New Year in several regions of India. This festival is observed with great devotion, fasting, prayers, and cultural events.

Significance of Chaitra Navratri

1. Spiritual Significance

Chaitra Navratri symbolizes the victory of good over evil, devotion to divine energy, and self-purification.

It is a period for seeking the blessings of Goddess Durga for strength, prosperity, and protection.

2. Religious Significance

It is also believed that Goddess Durga manifested during this time to defeat the demon Mahishasura.

In North India, Chaitra Navratri is celebrated with temple visits, devotional songs, and fasting.

In Maharashtra, it marks the beginning of the new year as Gudi Padwa.

In Kashmir, it is known as Navreh, the new year for Kashmiri Hindus.

In South India, it is linked with Vasant Navratri, celebrating Goddess Durga and Lakshmi.

Nine Days of Chaitra Navratri and Their Deities

Each day is dedicated to a different form of Goddess Durga, known as Navadurga:

It is filled with water, topped with mango leaves, and a coconut is placed on top.

2. Fasting and Devotion

Many devotees observe fasting for nine days or on the first and last days.

Some consume only fruits, milk, and water, while others eat satvik food (without onion and garlic).

3. Daily Prayers and Aarti

Devotees worship Goddess Durga by chanting mantras, bhajans, and reading the Durga Saptashati.

Aarti is performed twice a day.

4. Kanya Pujan (Worship of Young Girls)

On the eighth (Ashtami) or ninth (Navami) day, young girls (symbolizing Goddess Durga) are worshipped and offered food.

6. Ramlila and Processions

In many parts of North India, Ramlila (dramatic enactments of Lord Rama’s life) is performed.

Holi Festival in India

A Celebration of Colors and Joy

Holi, often called the "Festival of Colors," is one of the most vibrant and widely celebrated festivals in India. It marks the arrival of spring and symbolizes the victory of good over evil, love, unity, and joy.

1. Significance of Holi:

Holi has both religious and cultural significance.

a) Mythological Significance

The Legend of Prahlad and Holika:

The most popular story is from Hindu mythology, where Prahlad, a devotee of Lord Vishnu, was saved from his evil father, King Hiranyakashipu. His aunt, Holika, who had a boon to be immune to fire, sat with Prahlad in a burning pyre. However, Holika was burnt, and Prahlad was saved due to his devotion. This is why Holi is associated with the victory of good over evil.

The Love Story of Radha and Krishna:

Another famous story is about Lord Krishna, who playfully applied colors on Radha and the Gopis, starting the tradition of playing with colors.

2. When is Holi Celebrated?

Holi is celebrated on the full moon day (Purnima) of the Hindu month of Phalguna, which usually falls in March. The festival lasts for two days:

1. Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi (Bonfire Night): The night before Holi, people light bonfires to symbolize the burning of evil forces.

2. Rangwali Holi (Color Day): The next day, people play with colors, water, and enjoy festive foods.

3. How is Holi Celebrated?

a) Holika Dahan (The Bonfire Ritual)

On the eve of Holi, large bonfires are lit in public spaces.

People gather around, perform religious rituals, and pray for protection from evil forces.

b) Playing with Colors

The next morning, people celebrate by smearing each other with dry and wet colors.

Water balloons and water guns (pichkaris) add to the fun.

It is a time of joy, music, and dance.

c) Traditional Sweets and Food

Holi is incomplete without delicious food. Some popular Holi delicacies include:

Gujiya (sweet dumplings filled with khoya and dry fruits)

Thandai (a flavored milk drink, often with bhang in some regions)

Puran Poli, Malpua, and Dahi Vada are also enjoyed.

d) Music and Dance

Traditional folk songs and Bollywood Holi songs set the mood.

People dance to dhol beats and celebrate with family and friends.

4. Regional Variations of Holi

Holi is celebrated differently in various parts of India:

a) Lathmar Holi (Barsana and Nandgaon, Uttar Pradesh)

Women playfully beat men with sticks while they protect themselves with shields.

b) Phoolon Ki Holi (Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh)

Flowers instead of colors are used to celebrate Holi in temples.

c) Shantiniketan Holi (West Bengal – Basanta Utsav)

Inspired by Rabindranath Tagore, people wear yellow clothes and celebrate with cultural performances.

d) Dol Jatra (West Bengal and Odisha)

Holi is celebrated with idols of Lord Krishna being carried in processions.

e) Holla Mohalla (Punjab)

The Sikh community marks the festival with mock battles, martial arts, and prayers.

5. Holi Around the World
